Friday 7th July 18.30 – 19.30 in the Main Marquee
This talk is based on the fact that there were 100 villages listed in the Oxfordshire part of Domesday Book, which no longer exist or are a shadow of their former selves. We will consider why this has happened by looking at the 5 main reasons and illustrating the explanation with examples and slides. Some of these villages will be known to those who live in the area.
