Saturday 8th July in the Main Marquee 17.00 – 18.00
Imagine if we could sing the hymns that Flora Thompson heard her grandfather play as a church musician in a local band! Now is your opportunity to do just this as we explore the repertoire and performance practice as revealed in this 1837 local manuscript book. The session will include musical and visual illustrations which will enrich our understanding of the period.
